Whilst Vikings may be based as much on myth, as fact, its core understanding of the world they lived in, makes it inherently watchable. Vikings were conquerors, traders, settlers, and politicians. I do feel that said this series needs to come to an end soon as its really reached its potential and much more, will simply start to feel a little repetitive. A great watch. 9/10.

The locations & sets are perfect, the action outstanding, even if you don't like this kind of show, I would suggest it to anyone to give it a try. Then it continues on following the same for his sons and friends.\ \ This series is such an excellent telling of the era, and incredibly immersive! It has excellent acting and storytelling, beautiful shots and dramatic battles, and the full uncensored barbarism vikings were known for.\ \ This is one you don't want to miss if you're into vikings, their history, or just pure entertainment!\ \ PS: if you're waiting for the battle shown in the intro credits, don't, that's the only place where you see it, at the start of every show.
