I had a lot of fun watching Jawan. It is a well-made and entertaining action drama thriller film that tackles some important social issues. The action sequences are top-notch, the cinematography is stunning, and the performances are all excellent, especially those of Shah Rukh Khan and Vijay Sethupathi. Jawan felt like it was meant both to entertain and to make a serious point about the state of India today. I'm sorry but I could only endure about 50 minutes of it. The entertainment was woefully over the top with (for example) the unbelievable hijackers and the serious point was not handled seriously at all.
